It was 44 years ago today that my lovely sister, Kath, died. She didn't quite make it to 30. And here I am now heading towards my 60th year. She was a force. Self-righteous at times for sure, though usually right with it. And kind and caring and gentle. And still missed.

I keep glimpsing content referencing pies, and getting excited. And then I remember it's all about those horrifically sweet things they have in the US, rather than say a lovely pork pie or a chicken and mushroom pie, and I'm sad.
