I’ll say that working is not a crime. Being in this country is not a crime. The color of your skin is not a crime. And being an immigrant is not a crime. 5/

Immigrants ‘plucked out of line’ at citizenship ceremony at Faneuil Hall “the cradle of liberty”.

If you ever claimed you want immigrants to do it the right way, this should outrage you. On the other hand, If you think this was okay, you need to come to terms with your white nationalist views.

Dear neighbor,

I wanted to give an update on the Minneapolis Separation Ordinance being authored by myself, CM @aurinmpls.bsky.social, and CVP @aishaforward10.com. There is a public hearing at tomorrow’s Committee of the Whole meeting at 1:30PM. It’s open to the public, so feel free to testify. 1/

It seems to me that what’s culturally normal in the United States is not getting into other people’s private business. It’s only weird obsessives like Gavin Newsom who want to poke around in people’s pants before letting them play sports or use the bathroom. www.youtube.com/watch?v=N8-d...

just wonder when john wall and patricia wall moved from their wayzata home, which is still under their names, to ward 2. curious!
This isn’t Mr. Wall’s first attempt to disenfranchise voters, particularly students and working class renters. He also served on the Ward 2 credentials committee, which ejected nearly 85 DFLers who did not support the corporate landlord-backed candidate at the Ward 2 Convention.

My eternal pet peeve with the world right now: Front end height is the largest determinant of pedestrian death by a significant factor. These things kill people for no reason.

There is no magic thing you can do with modern vehicles, that we weren't doing in smaller vehicles in the 90s. Nothing.

I will not support this bill that completely fails to help Americans afford their health care.

Trump and R’s have more than doubled Americans’ health care premiums, and for 40 days they have refused to lift a finger to do a thing about it. In fact, they’ve made it worse by taking food from kids.

Minority Whip Katherine Clark puts out a stinging statement on the senate deal. "A GOP budget that spikes health care premiums and everyday costs to fund tax cuts for billionaires is a grave betrayal of everyday Americans. That was true in July. It was true in September. And it remains true today."

The average SNAP benefit per month is $177 a person.

The average ACA benefit per month is up to $550 a person.

People want us to hold the line for a reason. This is not a matter of appealing to a base. It’s about people’s lives.

And working people want leaders whose word means something to them.

Does anyone know, in this deal that has been struck, what the status is on backdoor abortion bans and access to trans healthcare?
Senate update: Republicans are now trying to sneak a backdoor national abortion ban into their government funding bill. Republicans will stop at nothing to control women's health care decisions.

There’s no one I trust less than Donald Trump and Mike Johnson.

Any deal that relies on Republicans to keep their word is a bad one.

Democrats can’t give up on affordable health care for an empty promise. Minnesotans can’t afford for Democrats to cave.

This is incredibly important:

we must frame tonight as a resounding victory — an electoral landslide, a mandate from the universe itself

and as a repudiation of MAGA, of Trump, and of vichy democrats

we must be relentless, we must not shut up
