Maga diehard Vivek isn't white enough for Maga support. That's the bottom line and the endgame for all of this bullshit. Please tell me you're paying attention.
For those not following at home, “Heritage American” is a category of white supremacy covering people whose ancestors were white folks who were pioneers.

Imagine watching Sinatra, son of Dolly & Antonini born in Genoa & Sicily, respectively, and Martin, son of Gaetano & Angela, born in Montesilvano, Italy & Ohio respectively, (Angela to parents born in Monasterolo, Italy), and crusading against the value of children of immigrants to the U.S.

I’ll just note that the US didn’t do this to China, which outright bans US social media websites

Rufus AI automatically popping up during searches on Amazon was the stupidest, most irritating change they've made in a long time. It was another way to sort information in ways I had no use for and never asked for. Maybe just focus on what the users actually want instead. Odd idea, I know.

Love this city with all my heart.
Really hard to imagine this opinion coming down the way it did if Illinoisans hadn't rallied to protect their neighbors and Pritzker hadn't publicly and forcefully resisted the administration.

I love how the DOJ says the files related to Trump would have been weaponized against him already if they were credible. Looking around, though, seems to me it's probable they already have been behind the scenes.

Watch it. Share it far and wide. The people sharing their experiences here deserve at least that. Fuck Bari Weiss.
BREAKING: WATCH the full 60 Minutes CECOT segment here. This was sent to me anonymously. It appears to be the segment CBS' Bari Weiss killed. www.muellershewrote.com/p/watch-the-...

I really want to believe that the only reason CBS journalists aren't quitting en masse in protest is because they know they'll be replaced with far less scrupulous actors (NOT journalists). Just going to hold tight to that hope today because this is so goddamn bleak.

Honestly, when Shapiro is considered too moderate for your party and denouncing Nazi ideology is considered intolerant, you have truly lost the plot.

"Moonshine Philosopher" is one of the best descriptions of Willie I've ever heard.

I hope someone at CBS finds a way to just leak the CECOT segment so we can all share it widely. I also hope Bari Weiss flames out in glorious fashion and never, ever works again anywhere.

Just woke up in an incandescent rage after a dream where someone came up behind me as I was preparing a crockpot full of pot roast and added an entire pint of heavy whipping cream. Like, sat upright with a start, absolutely fuming. Whew, 2025 needs to end.

@casten.house.gov You rep my former district. My family still lives there. Ignore the idiots. You're fighting the good fight, and I'm so glad you're in Congress.

I honestly want Dems to fight like hell to put these criminals (let's not mince words) in jail when the time comes. Make them pay, yes, but send a message to would-be criminals and the rest of the world that Americans are done fucking around. That's 26. That's 28. Enough.

Not surprised about the Epstein files, and though I expect the usual suspects to defend the BS, GOP reps and senators have got to be PISSED. This issue isn't going away, which means they've got a giant, pedo-flavored albatross around their necks going into the midterms.

That'll be a dealbreaker in the primaries for me. FOH with that nonsense. If the man can get his name on a building within 24 hrs of announcing the illegal change, a new president can walk into the Oval day one with a list of those stupid cosmetic changes and say, "Get it done so I can get to work."
There's a series of things (like the ballroom, Gulf of America) that we're going to have to *undo* the moment this guy is out of office.
And yet I can already hear future Democrat presidents saying "I'm focused on the people's work, not the knucklehead stuff" and just leave this man's shit up.
The president's name was added to the sign outside the performing arts center.

Data suggests that, to this day, a white person is more likely to get the job than a person of color. If a person of color gets the job over you, white person, your response should not be to whine about DEI hires. Odds are they beat you the much harder way.

I remember telling my partner a couple of years ago that this exact thing would happen: companies would eagerly jump on AI as a marketing silver bullet, only to realize a few years later that it was not capable of creativity that cuts through the noise. In fact, it IS the noise.
Are these the same companies that told us the robot could do it?

Trump saying he "didn't work very hard" on Indiana is hilarious. He tried to extort the state with federal funding jeopardy. He spoke out to the point that multiple elected officials got death threats.

Feels like a very generous description of something that is less "cringe" than "???" and less "comedy" than "I'm supposed to laugh?" I'm all for cringe comedy, but this show was genuinely just bad. People kept watching b/c it was weird enough that you thought you should wait for the funny part.
“The Chair Company,” starring the “S.N.L.” alum Tim Robinson, is “an unexpectedly expansive, even heartwarming, vision of cringe comedy,” Molly Fischer writes.
