Um "when fake wombs become a thing"?! Have they not read BRAVE NEW WORLD, decanting babies from artificial wombs? Or, maybe they have.
I love the incels who talk about how in trouble women are when fake wombs become a thing.

My dudes. You will be solo responsible for feeding and getting three kids out the door alone before 7 am. And then they turn into teenagers.

Tip: Request 3 pictures from 3 different angles and all of them have to have a visible paper with specific text on it. If any of the damage changes even a LITTLE refuse the refund.
Heads up for all my art friends that have an online store.

Noooo! I feel your horror.
just had a heart-stopping moment of terror. been wrestling with a line-edit and because of that, was distracted enough that I neglected to break the manuscript into smaller sections, which is my usual practice once I hit a certain number of changes.

It came up in discussion at the convention so its annual reminder time the “artist” known as Menton3 ( real name Trey, he’s just pretentious ) cost me my US life savings, screwed over a lot of people & now thinks he’s a tattooist in Atlanta with zero training.

If you see him, say a fistful of “hi”.

Congratulations Ms. Worsley! This is a wonderful post, especially the bit about the young fan who sent you her craft project -- a hand sewn, stuffed head of Tudor queen Katherine Howard.

Hey, so, I've been fired. Now that I'm unemployed like the other half of Bluesky, if anyone knows of work for a writer, reporter, or nonprofit grants manager, I'd be much obliged. You all know where to find me.

Does anyone know of an artist who has closable realistic ceramic cardboard boxes for sale? Something that looks exactly like a cardboard box but made of clay, has a top, and is actually for sale - not a long ago gallery show or whatever.

Looking for specific leads pls, not "did u try etsy/google".

This is HUGE. Hard to overstate the importance to this event to the town and region. The international comics publishing will also take a hit but they have many other ways to promote and sell. The comics festival IS Angoulême.

If you're new to cooking or don't trust yourself to recognize a bad AI recipe, for the love on god, do not just use random recipes from random profiles. Find trustworthy sites and creators (Serious Eats, NYT Cooking, J. Kenji Lopez-Alt, Alton Brown) and search their archives for what you need.
NEW: AI “recipe slop” is overrunning search and social. Food creators say Google’s AI Overviews and glossy fake food pics are drowning out real, tested recipes — collapsing traffic and setting home cooks up for disaster, especially this Thanksgiving.
