The Greens will repeal the Regulatory Standards Bill.

But ACT won't give up.

They will spend millions into fooling voters that free market capitalism is the only future left for New Zealand.

However, you can help stop ACT from getting even more power.

haven't seen anything about this in NZ, despite this being DIRECTLY relevant to NZ's security state and relationship with the US, particularly in relation to government/ministerial PR and rhetoric about closer US ties and transnational crime. This should be a red alert for NZ's current direction

The thing is, this is good for social stability and cohesion! Political and economic elites can either have normal consequences or they will ultimately get extraordinary consequences. That they are too stupid and shortsighted to understand this shouldn't keep the rest of us from understanding it

Is any Government agency doing any due diligence? or has the gutting of public service rendered it incapable of doing so? I don't care that there has been retroactive action to "fix" this. The contract needs to be cancelled.

There's a member's bill to fix that, which should get a first reading debate in a couple of member's days.

No idea if it will pass though.
