there is a direct line bw SCOTUS decisions like Grants Pass v Johnson, politicians like Gavin Newsom gleefully sweeping encampments for photo ops, Trump’s EO criminalizing houselessness, and this.

absolutely horrifying.

It's "great" to see my employer releasing names and information about *alleged* behavior to the Trump admin, without even telling the people who've been accused what it is that they're accused of. Utterly reprehensible.

Smalls, the only Black flotilla member, appears to be the only one who has been treated this way
Gaza Freedom Flotilla has released statement that Black labour leader Chris Smalls (Amazon Labour Union) faced violence that no one else on Handala did. He has been severely beaten in Israeli custody.

Smalls follows in legacy of Black radical tradition for Palestine. Labour must stand for Smalls.

Truly abhorrent, dehumanizing, and dangerous views.

Houseless people deserve our safety, care, and policies that get them housed, not criminalized and swept up again and again
This is the line of thinking. Prevent states and localities from being more protective of the unhoused than SCOTUS. Do it through financial coercion.
