I also think society is way too comfortable asking educators to do more and more with fewer and fewer resources. Then, when educators cry out, “these expectations are impossible to keep up with!” society says “you clearly don’t care for your students. You should be Giving Your All Every Day!”

In October I had several anxiety attacks, most of them related to work in some way. I hadn't dealt with several so close together since 2020. Finally scheduled an appointment through my job's EAP.
I love teaching but something has changed, and I'm having trouble dealing with it.
