Since Trump’s earlier firings were illegal and he did them anyway, why do the cave caucusers think that another law telling him not to will actually be followed, or if violated, enforced?
President Donald Trump’s administration from conducting more mass layoffs — an issue that is particularly important for his state.Sen. Tim Kaine of Virginia.“The kinds of just non-strategic mass firings and (reduction in force actions) have traumatized federal employees since Inauguration Day,

Oh, I love this. A new species of sea anemone was discovered recently that parks itself on top of a hermit crab shell like a hat. It seems to feed partly off the crab's faeces, but it also excretes a hard shell that extends the crab's home. In return, it's carried around the seafloor like a king.

We are being led by absolute cowards
Two is much more likely.
One of two things is true:
1. Chuck Schumer genuinely felt this is a bad deal, so he voted against it, but he couldn't keep Senate Dems in line because he's a lackluster leader.
OR
2. Chuck Schumer orchestrated the shutdown deal w/ retiring Dems because he's a bad strategist and got rattled.

Found the tweet that Joyce Carol Oates bodied Elon Musk with and it's so beautiful in its eloquent, simple take down. So much so he's crashing out trying to prove he reads books now. Put this in the Louvre.

I’m shocked by how the mainstream news coverage of this vote is dominated by logistics and timing, rather than being about what an epic collapse this represents by Democratic leaders.

These 8 useless Democratic Senators are all wealthy and have feathered themselves a lovely retirement nest.
They don't need to be in these positions anymore.
They can amble away into the privileged nothingness that defines their spinelessness and lack of courage.
Demand more and better, folks.

The Dems who are caving are doing so not because their base wants them to,
not because the voters want them to,
not because the fed workers and SNAP recipients want them to…
they are caving because their DONORS want them to.
And that’s really all that ever matters to the corrupt
