It’s the time of year where everyone debates Die Hard being a Christmas movie (it is) but so is Batman Returns, Eyes Wide Shut, Lethal Weapon, Gremlins, and Rambo First Blood. If I see a tree, lights, presents, or even a single chubby bearded guy eating a cookie, it counts.

My 5 year old has been carrying around a small "pet rock" for a couple of weeks now. It's usually in his pocket, so I rarely see it, but this morning when he pulled it out I noticed it was growing a few strange vines. It's not a rock, it's a potato. My son has a pet potato.
