The White House has been caught.

The administration inserted a photo of Bill Clinton, Michael Jackson, and Diana Ross into the Epstein files and falsely implied it showed them with victims.

In reality, it’s a publicly available fundraiser photo featuring Jackson and Ross’s own children.

I am so proud to be able to be part of a government that is finally delivering for our communities.

For years the Tories underfunded local government, and we all paid the price. Now Labour is investing in our communities again, with £234m for Nottinghamshire County and £154m for Nottingham City.

A third of 16-18 year olds girls say in surveys that they experienced unwanted sexual touching at school. There are several hundred rapes reported in schools every year.
Dog-whistle and factually incorrect. Ladies, raise your hand if you were sexually assaulted by a boy at school? I’d wager this or a family member is most women’s first experience of sexual violence

Reform UK’s first West Northamptonshire Budget

Full Council Tax 5%, free parking scrapped, charities to be charged for using parks and Blue Badged disabled free parking being removed.

Tell us Zia Yusuf, is that what you had in mind as DOGE head?

This year, we gave working parents 30 hours of government-funded childcare, saving them up to £7,500.

We're keeping up momentum to provide more high-quality early years education, giving children growing up in our country the best start in life.

It is days like this that remind us why we do it.

Yes, I'll get back in the weeds in the new year. Yes, it's not always easy being a Labour member.

BUT! YES it's totally totally worth it when we make such an important difference to worker's lives.

Merry Christmas.

Seems Labour have been effective.

The UK is poised to record its longest period without Channel migrant crossings in seven years, no arrivals since mid-November.

This marks an uninterrupted stretch of 27 days without new arrivals, as of December 11.

This a big deal: "China’s carbon dioxide emissions have been flat or falling for 18 months"

China's economy has grown by ~5% in the last year, so this comprehensively debunks the idea (again) that emissions are tied to growth. So yes, faster progress needed, but this is how you turn the corner.
