I’d like to remind folks that many crisis comms advisers will tell companies to get customers to wait to cancel in hopes the issue will blow over (or folks forget).
It is fine to wait and call again, and again, and EMAIL…but set a reminder on your phone so you don’t confirm their rude assumption.

i think powell's response here is a demonstration of the folly of the idea that democratic accountability requires presidential control. what if the president is not acting in the public interest? you want independent agencies to be able to push back and pursue their *congressional mandate*

The past couple days have made it clear that arresting and prosecuting Johnathan Ross isn’t just the right thing to do, it is necessary to prevent future violence by ICE who have interpreted the situation as “we can do that to whoever we want”
