The thing that made the General Strike in Minnesota successful is it built on existing orgs & buy-in from unions: SEIU, AFT, and CWA. Clergy & small businesses too.
I don't think there's anything wrong about posting about a shut down, but compelling one requires community investment & organizing.

Most meat does not come from pastures and meadows, but from factory farms. Veganism is not the only option (I am not), but we need to drastically reduce meat consumption (also so that the remaining meat can indeed come from pastures and meadows).

If a non-citizen neighbor gets kidnapped by ICE, you supposedly have about 4-5 hours to file a habeas petition in Minnesota to prevent ICE from shipping people to Texas. They are moving people that quickly regardless of whether or not they have legal status.
