This suspension stems from Moehrig giving 49ers WR Jauan Jennings a low blow after the game ended. Jennings will be evaluated for a potential fine and Moehrig has the right to appeal.
Panthers safety Tre’von Moehrig has been suspended without pay for one game for an act of unsportsmanlike conduct during Monday’s game against the 49ers.

It's absolutely something that should be called out when it's done but also some of the examples in here are satirical twitter accounts, Don Lemon, and people I've never heard of. I don't know if that rises to the "Why Are Democrats Teasing Homophobia" in the hed.
