This NYT post is a good example of misunderstanding the Chatbot as just an interface to more specialized tools, but language is not the interface. Language is the whole thing!
This is a framing error, NYT. It's different technologies. Chatbots are not the same as the machine learning involved in reading scans (better defined inputs, clearer evaluation of outputs). Calling both AI is like conflating bombs dropped from planes with cars, because they both involve explosions.

We're only a few days in & I'm absolutely knocking on wood rn, but January is up 53% YoY so far!
If there's light at the end of this tunnel, it just got brighter.

YES YES YES. This is also why we should talk about players rather than consumers in game dev. We need to change the discourse so that we can start thinking about new sustainable ways of being a game creator.

Puedo tener relación (y de hecho la tengo) con personas cuyas opiniones sobre un montón de temas difieren de las mías, no con gente que piensa que soy una enferma por ser lesbiana. Qué fácil es hablar de "diferencia ideológica" cuando esa "diferencia" no pone en riesgo tu integridad como persona.
A lo mejor hay que dejar de llamar "diferencias ideológicas" o "discusiones políticas" a que haya gente de tu entorno opinándote en la cara que estarías mejor muerto en una cuneta, no sé.
