Code Yikes!

It's official, 2025 recorded the second lowest sea-ice extent maximum on record, with only 2024 seeing a lower maximum. And 2016 holds third place, with a maximum about 17,000 km² more than 2025.

Will 2026 see a new record low maximum? Stay tuned!

Here’s everything you need to know about what the House actually voted on, what is already public, and what questions they hope to answer by releasing new information.

If there's not a team that has been assiduously going through the Epstein Files and expunging any mention of Trump and his cronies ... then I've got a bridge to sell you.

The Epstein scandal is a symptom of a larger disease

The impacts of the algal bloom are still evident along our South Australian shores, dead fish scattered as far as the morning walk. To face the climate change driven causes behind this national disaster Australia needs a firm commitment to stopping the expansion of fossil fuels.

on this, the 50th anniversary of the whitlam dismissal, it bears mentioning that the present-day labor party is far, far closer politically to the party of fraser than the party of whitlam - and honestly, that comparison does disservice to the party of fraser.

Ok my EG Whitlam yarn. Early 90's Gough is speaker at a national Young Labor dinner. I'm a new SVP and get to sit next to him. He's being introduced by another delegate - at inappropriate length. Gough leans in a bit to me and asks *do the voice*
