actually, people who are masking in stores should be asking you why the hell you aren’t masking.

Actually, never wearing a mask in public is extremely weird
… and high-risk people have been really nice about not constantly, and loudly, pointing that out.

It's actually like, the explicit point of USPS that it CAN'T make a profit.

It is not profitable to deliver mail and packages to every single address in America. The point of the USPS is to ensure everyone can get mail, not to generate revenue. It's a cost, not a loss

Over the years we have had pre-symptomatic Covid in our house twice when people were over. We still infected zero people, because we care about air filtration in our home (and we all vaccinate, plus some luck too).
What I’m saying is that there is no reason viruses have to go like this every year

no one is exaggerating when we call these people eugenicists. I am surprised they haven’t just claimed the term proudly at this point.
this is a crime against humanity... it is so unethical. immoral. unconscionable it leaves one speechless.
This is horrific. RFK Jr’s CDC is funding a study in Guinea-Bissau which would involve deliberately withholding the hepatitis B vaccine from hundreds of newborn infants, putting them at great risk of death. They want to repeat Tuskegee.

Jacob Frey does his silly standing up to Trump theater to applause (with no discernible real protection) then turns on a dime and whips out his cruel vindictive little veto pecker because he knows the shallowness and venal quality of the Minneapolis liberal population.

It’s never not going to be dumb that we invented supply chains for these super specific containers that you can’t just send back to get reused to put the same thing in again.

on a tactical level obviously we should talk endless shit about trump tearing down the white house to replace it with some combination of nothing and a piece of shit. make hay while the sun shines, absolutely.

but we need more than that, in the end. we need an answer. we need a vision.

We have deep cleaned a lot in the battle with carpet beetles, but between that and the volatile Portland air pressure I’m now incapacitated. Reached out to a housekeeping place who said they won’t touch us bc larva. The Biohazard place rejected us saying we needed traditional services. Helpppp #pdx

The problem with asking abolitionists how to prevent violent and sexual crimes is that it presupposes that the current system actually addresses sexual or violent crimes when it categorically does not. The United States has the lowest clearance rates for violent crimes in the developed world.

25 years ago today, SCOTUS elected George W Bush president of the United States by blocking completion of a voting canvass in Florida. A subsequent canvass by the Associated Press showed that Bush's rival, Al Gore, had won the race in Florida—and thus the contest for the presidency—by 700 votes.
