Hey so remember when I said white women are endangering their own freedom when they cozy up to white supremacy? And that the hard right fantasies do not include sharing power with women? Yeah so the not so quiet part is here
Fuentes, yesterday: “Our #1 political enemy is women because women constrain everything, every conversation, every man, everything. They have to be imprisoned. They are the ones that are hurting the fertility rate. They're the ones making us sympathetic to poor people, which are also brown people.”
Nick Fuentes: “The number one political enemy in America is women. … They have to be imprisoned.”

amazing how yet another round of "you have to promise you'll vote for the shitbag years in advance" reveals itself to have nothing to do with strategy and pragmatics and everything to do with "i am scared and anxious and everyone on the internet needs to promise me everything will turn out alright"

In an industry that has avoided that conversation and where trust actually was …..

Stories are “evaluated not just on their journalistic merit but on whether they conform to a shifting set of ideological expectations.”

This writer is so close to getting it! So close!

He even makes the connection of The Purge and Handmaid's Tale!

As I've said before, a lot of dystopian horror, is just, "😱What if someone treated us, the way we've treated Black people?!"

The purge is Sundown towns.

Handmaid's Tale is slavery.

They literally dragged a minor employee out of a Target as he was wailing that he was a US citizen, roughed him up in their car, and then dropped him off bloodied and bruised in the freezing cold a couple of miles away, so miss us with this.

Enjoyed 3 hours of uninterrupted focus for the first time in months 🥹

I got some invoicing done and will be $400 less poor in the morning (I’ll allow myself to enjoy it for 20 minutes before using it all to pay bills 😭😫)

I don't know if it's really clear, outside of coverage of Mpls and pockets of organizing elsewhere, that hundreds of thousands of people are actively and at every level of society fighting our government as it abducts and imprisons and torments our neighbors.

I just spent a couple hours in the whistle inbox, inputting 39 requests. They ranged from 100 for a lady who wants to give them out at church to 3,000 for a large union. All over the country, but one common refrain: I want to help.

Thanks for helping us do this. 💓

Once again: people are angry for very good reason, and this brand of post is perhaps one of the most tedious and bewildering. Practically every social media platform is rabidly pro-‘AI’ so are govts, academia, companies. This one small space being critical of AI is okay, I think.
