The underlying problem with this is that, by now, most folk will assume that anything redaction concerns Trump and is so heinous as to be covered up. It’s what we’re all thinking. So the redactions could end up hurting him as much as the unexpurgated files because we’re already sure of his guilt..

This is an interesting read but the point I’m not sure it goes in on hard enough is the profound privilege of all of these overwhelmingly white cis str8 men. Just the fact that Epstein did it made it inherently ok and whatever degree their culpability, that was ok too because they deemed it so.
This is a great piece. It’s the most basic of questions.

Shout out to my fellow disabled folk who, having survived the heat of summer and all the issues that brings (inflammation, meds reacting etc) are now dealing with the cold and damp of winter and all the fun (and for fun read worse pain etc) that brings.
