As much as I hate nfts, I wouldn't wish this upon anyone. That's utterly mortifying
A bunch of people went to a bored ape event in Hong Kong and it used UV lights that burned their eyes, leaving some temporarily and maybe in a few cases permanently blind. To be clear this was an event specifically and only for people who own bored ape NFTs.

Always a good reminder. Something this weird shouldn't work, but the data says it absolutely helps.
If you're exposed to visually traumatizing material, play half an hour of Tetris as soon as possible after the exposure (ideally within 24 hours). It reduces the risk of future intrusive thoughts and flashbacks. Best guess is it's a type of EMDR interfering with long term visual memory formation.

If bluesky remained invite only to stringently remain relatively bot-free and meant people who're banned couldn't just immediately turn around and get back to it, I would legit pay several bucks a month for it to stay like this 🤷🏼♀️
i realized one reason bluesky is so cozy, theres no ads at all. really going to suck when this place inevitably starts putting ads everywhere. i wish we could live in an internet where zero ads is possible
