Canadian Film Industry person, gaffer mostly.
Can't believe this was sent out this way.

I've often told people working in film can be weird because it usually requires relatively the same effort level by the crew no matter the quality of the final product. Good or bad they're hard work.

This is perhaps an example of the unusual times.
they misspelled christmas on the title card lmao

Look, I'm sure that Nolan's adaptation of "The Odyssey" will be fun, but I highly doubt it will be as good as the original.

I love this pod but having a 30 year love for Ms. Winslet I’m now very confused as to whether I still wish I could marry her or I wish her to be my mum or maybe my aunt/nan so as to not diminish my own mom who rocks all things always. Point is Kate is awesome and we should recognize that.

Gigantic win for my taste buds.

“But Mike that wheel of Brie is 500g, ten times more than the 50g listed, and consuming that daily could cause other harmful issues.”

(Mouth full of Brie) 50g is the minimum, it says “or more” and I’m nothing if not an overachiever.
"A new study has found that eating 50g or more of high-fat cheese a day correlates with a lower risk of developing dementia. That means all cheeses with more than 20 percent fat content, including brie, gouda, cheddar, parmesan, gruyere, and mozzarella." www.sciencealert.com/cheese-linke...

I know I shouldn't use these apps anyway, but...

Is it really "buy 1, get 1 free" if you raise the price of the initial item by 60% or more?

Why lie and not just say "buy 1, get 5 bucks off the second"? It's still a savings/deal just not the one they advertise.

This entire grift relies on convincing people that they don't know how to do the things they have always known how to do, and ironically, if it works, we will, in a very short amount of time, forget how to do all the things we have always known how to do.

Such a fan of this woman's videos. The intersection of pop culture and architecture is fertile ground for a seemingly endless trove of thought provoking ideas. Give it a gander:

I can't wait to watch this Liverpool squad play more this year. Wirtz looks amazing. Hugo looks a very nice addition and the pair of new fullbacks are doing great thus far. Adding all that to this team is so much fun. #LFC
