Stephen Miller is Trump’s most important and influential aide because he channels and shares the president’s worldview. His cold-blooded assessment that might makes right is the one immutable law of history and is now the guiding concept behind US foreign policy…

Been banging the drum on this one since he showed up trying to get his DOGE kids access to all those separate silos of data on American citizens and feeding it into AI! No one paid attention. This is it right here. It's always been about "making lists" for ICE and now they got the cash too.

When Trump says it won’t end up costing the United States to illegally invade and “control” Venezuela because of the value of their oil, he means there will be a massive public cost, but that’s ok because private companies and oligarchs, including his family, will make a ton of money.
People wondering whether the US is going to be able to "run the country" of Venezuela at "no cost" might like to remind themselves it's a place one-third *larger* than Afghanistan, the running of which cost the US $2,260,000,000,000. (That's $2.26 trillion).

I still boggle at this.

A prominent X user posted a ** literal child rape & snuff film **, or stills from it. He was autobanned.

Musk *personally* brought that CSAM poster (DomLucre) back, and that should-be-felon is regularly on Fox and was invited by Trump to the White House
This piece refuses to mention that Musk personally restored the count of a user who shared CSAM material on the platform, and *pays that user to be on the platform*. Why do cover up this pertinent fact? And why is the author’s byline linked to their profile on the child sexual abuse platform?

This is perfect. The DOJ's embarrassing snafu with disappearing redactions was the fault of Elon Musk. Musk cancelled government subscriptions to Adobe programs that would have made the redactions permanent. What a pack of fools.

This makes facially neutral policies--like poll taxes and literacy tests--that we know were adopted for discriminatory purposes legal. Organizations can now simply claim there was no discriminatory intent regardless of outcome. It's unconstrained institutionalized racism.

REMINDER TO PEOPLE WHO CALL THEMSELVES JOURNALISTS:

The Affordable Care Act (aka Obamacare) was amended by the GOP under Trump 45. Eliminating the individual mandate was like drilling a hole in your car’s gas tank. They own this.

Omitting this fact when reporting/interviewing is malpractice, IMO.
