I can't "prove" that there's a connection, but I can say that prior to the current rise in far right extremism worldwide, there was a slow but steady decline of songs with sultry sax solos. Make of that what you will.

The fact that W. lied about WMDs in order to start a war that killed hundreds of thousands of civilians, and also made torture and kidnapping a policy REALLY should have been the point at which you "reevaluate your respect for them."
