There were some advances in LED tech ~10-20 years ago that made them cheap enough for plants. Before that, greenhouses & indoor weed growers both used high pressure sodium lamps.
This is an HPS light- deep orange color.

In 1966, Dad took my brother, just 9, and me a jumpy 11YO, to Legion Field to see the Iron Bowl. It was freezing. Dad pointed out Bear (by his fedora) and Shug Jordan on the other side. Kenny Stabler made a 63 yd. TD pass to Ray Perkins just before the half to deafening cheers. 31-0. Cheers Dad. RIP

I saw my first concert in 1970 at a National Guard Armory in Dothan, AL by a band that had one extremely minor hit, "Stoned Cowboy" that barely charted. It had a thrown-together-at-the-last-minute vibe that this article brought back to life. I LOLd at several places. Just an amazing rabbit hole.
One more reason to strongly dislike Sark and the Longhorns is that they're forcing me to root for A&M. Long memory here in Bama. We haven't gotten over Manziel yet.
