Because of the ACA, thanks Obama, I was able to afford rehab for my alcoholism. I’m going on year 9. I wouldn’t have been able to afford it otherwise. I am truly thankful. I’m just 1 of the millions the ACA has helped.

I just got back from 36 hours in Ukraine with my brother Scott. Wanted to share a story from while we were there. At a hospital, we talked with a wounded Ukrainian soldier.
I asked him what he thought about the recent change in US policy. His response in English was, “What the fuck.”

Barbara Jordan was the 1st African American woman from the south elected to Congress in 1972. Prior to that she had been elected as President of the Texas Senate. In the US Congress she served 3 terms on the Judiciary Committee. She gave the opening remarks in Nixon’s impeachment. A hero to many!

The issue with the DoE is simple. Do away with the department, put control back on the state level where Rs are pushing for school vouchers.
