i might be insanely out of touch to the material realities of being an artist, but but do “creatives” not realize that advertising is an economic bad?
I’m seeing more vert ads with low quality, uncanny valley AI video generators. The comments are universally negative, but I don’t think that’s going to do much — the cost ratio (for now, with VC-subsidized pricing) is just enough to kill off a generation of creatives and reset salary expectations 🫤
