Don’t get me wrong, there’s giant epics in anime, but it really does seem like the anime industry is far more willing to just let a small and concise story be a one or two season show and just end it than any American media.

Not everything needs to be a fucking franchise or IP. That pressure runs do many shows.

This is why people need to follow creators, rather than specific works. Let there be one season shows that end and don’t get stretched out for corporate greed.

If you want to convince the general public that you didn’t call a black man a slur in an altercation that unfolded on national television, you should simply not wear a backwards hat with a suit to your press conference
[Pryor] Ryan Kennedy, the Lions fan involved in the altercation with DK Metcalf, held a press conference. Unclear his full message because the audio on their zoom was muted until halfway through

He did ask “DeKaylin” to tell people he didnt use racial slur or hate speech twitter.com/bepryor/stat...

I think often about how bad this precedent was. Despite Trump being held civilly liable of rape, somehow calling him a 'rapist' was considered defamation.

This is perfect. The DOJ's embarrassing snafu with disappearing redactions was the fault of Elon Musk. Musk cancelled government subscriptions to Adobe programs that would have made the redactions permanent. What a pack of fools.
