The Haunting of Hill House feels like a distinctly trans femme novel to me. Eleanor is so grateful for the chance to finally be a woman on her own terms that she'd rather run straight into hell than even consider returning to her old life.

Now, in Montgomery County, Maryland, where the case originated, the results are in.

Only 43 families out of 160,000 students have exercised that new right.
