Thanks for replying :) We agree on everything of substance. My reason for leaning away from “negligence” towards “malfeasance” was (IMO) that “malfeasance” conveys more of a sense of deliberation plus malicious intent :)

Maybe, but in my professional role and as an expert witness, deliberately ignoring evidence that is prejudicial to ones case is negligence and against the very court derived protocols designed yo specifically prevent such.
