The White House claims the vote to rename the Kennedy Center was “unanimous.” That is false. I was muted on the call and denied the opportunity to speak or register my opposition. That is not consensus. That is censorship.

Trump’s behavior would get him fired as assistant manager at a local fast food joint, but Republicans continue to back him to lead the most powerful office in the world.

The President is supposed to be held to the highest standard of human character, not the absolute lowest.

At the same time the NY Times was hyping Hillary Clinton's emails, it had a reporter with emails from Jeffrey Epstein that were highly damaging to Trump.

The more NYT apologists try to minimize this the clearer it becomes that they don't understand why much of the public doesn't trust legacy media.

He spent Biden’s entire presidency calling him ‘Sleepy Joe’. Still does. But this guy nods off in the middle of the day in meetings almost every day. Fell asleep in court all the time too.

I'm old enough to remember when Republicans claimed to believe that the White House was such sacred space that getting a blow job in the Oval Office was grounds to remove a president from office.

In a time when the daft notion of Republicans running plants in Democratic primaries actually seems credible — see, e.g., how the example I led with above is, like the below, _also_ from North Carolina — vetting done _for_ Dems _before_ voting begins needs to happen early, and must be thorough.
Wow. This is a big deal in North Carolina’s legislature. Cecil Brockman holds a safe seat but is often absent or votes with Republicans, helping them override Gov. Stein’s vetoes (they need 1 Dem vote or 2 Dem absences).

If he resigns or gets removed, Dems could replace him with a more reliable Dem
