I don’t want to do many posts. I want to lurk and learn. I am an old lady living in a world that looks more and more like sci-fi. So many layers of nostalgia. Media-wise I miss Jack Paar, rabbit ears on the TV and I miss the Amazon of the early 00’s.

I deeply deeply believe that it’s critical to have creative outlets and curiosities and practices that are outside your True Creative Passion. This absolutely saved me when I was stuck in acute depression artblock purgatory and couldn’t draw
Your art can be anything. It can be related, like an animator drawing backgrounds instead, or it can be unrelated, like picking up an instrument. What's important is that you're still nourishing your soul because that's the source of all our creative energy. Finding things to love. (4/5)

This snorkling pic showed up in my memories today. Indonesia.

The young adult whale shark was curious and as big as a bus. I was trying to catch the beautiful pattern of its skin.

Washington state could be a blueprint for climate action
In Washington state this past election, voters upheld one of the most ambitious climate laws in the U.S., rejecting a voter initiative to repeal it. Climate activists hope this could be a blueprint.
