Ooof. Yesterday my bff apologized to me for “trauma dumping.” For 30 years it has been my honor to show up for her - and she knows this! - yet she’s being taught by tik tok to apologize for needing her bestie. I’m sorry but that’s bullshit and I don’t abide. 😤
Man this hits. Even small scale, the better choice is usually more expensive. Toilet paper without plastic is twice as much, boycotting stores means driving farther and using more gas/time. Heck, the mental health industry has convinced us that sharing our our struggles w/friends is bad!
