there are an estimated 3 million trans people in this country, we are not a luxury issue, we are real people with lives, I'm tired of people pretending like it's no big deal if 1% of the population gets driven out of society

I guess I'm not part of my family. I didn't get an official invite at Thanksgiving and I just found out that my dad didn't include me in the invite to Christmas. I'm so fucking tired.

The number one reason I feel hope right now is Republicans are starting to push back. Trump has been in office less than a year and people on the right are starting to say "well, actually, this is terrible."
Don't get me wrong. It's not enough yet, but it does give me hope.

At the store looking at holiday decorations, Z complained about how much wreaths are and I pointed out that's tariff pricing (wreaths have cost more than they are worth for a while, imo, but I've looked for them enough times in my life that I know they are priced higher this year).
While I never believed Trump's promise that he was in any way going to help the economy for average Americans, I'm still blindsided by how much extra I'm having to pay for things lately. I swear I have a panic attack every time we buy groceries.

Is KFC still good in other countries?
My expectations of KFC at this point are so low that when I get it, I'm always sure that it can't be as bad as I remember. It's always somehow worse.

I think it's highly likely that alien life exists. I pray to god that they never find us. Even if they end up being "benevolent", I do not see a future where aliens find the earth and it's a good thing for humanity.
