brandon beane did this, constructed the worst bills team of the decade, then ratfucked the head coach to avoid consequences and got a promotion out of it
i talk about it a lot but if you haven’t seen the full clip of brandon beane’s radio temper tantrum in april you need to. it’s one of the most embarrassing things i’ve ever heard

Democrats half-assedly ran on "democracy" in 2024 and failed so now everyone will only run on "prices are too high" and every president will get tossed out after one term for not getting that done
US politicians just seem to bedrock believe that americans care about absolutely nothing except their own selfish interests, and that appealing to their sense of decency ever in any way is a losing proposition and you should never do it.

ICE ended up returning the man, Saly, after realizing he’s a fucking US citizen with no criminal record, per his sister-in-law. These fucking animals.

Buffalo Bills general manager Brandon Beane is being retained, per source. He will help lead the team's search for a new coach.

I know this kind of language is infuriating. They wouldn't be talking this way if they were winning though. A guy like Ogles - who hates the US, who loathes the constitution - is apoplectic about the resistance the regime has met in Minnesota. This is the talk of a bully who's being defeated.
Rep. Andy Ogles on Fox Business: "They're libtards in a blue city ... if the libtards are gonna side with lawlessness, that's on them"

This is last April and tariffs all over again. Trump doesn’t have the minerals to take the market reaction to an invasion of Greenland. But the market knows that and therefore doesn’t collapse on incremental signals he is moving that way.

It’s a pickle!

there are syphilitic 19th century Habsburg monarchs with better political sense than Josh Shapiro, holy shit
Josh Shapiro writes in his new book that he was being grilled by the Kamala Harris team about his views on Israel because he's a Jew.

In college, Josh Shapiro wrote that Palestinians as a collective "are too battle-minded" and that peace can only happen if Arabs don't "ruin it".

I sometimes wonder if the highest court in the land realize the mistake of allowing presidents to have immunity detailing its cause and effect that it could have on a country and its citizens?

They should try this for the first time
It may be more worthwhile to try to peel off marginal Trump voters who were uninformed or brainwashed, but who are now waking up, rather than try to get apathetic voters to vote.

1) we know the former actually care to vote.

2) the former represent a 2-vote swing, the latter just a 1-vote gain.

look he's seen the polling, this is not a statement about what's effective, it's a statement about what they want to be committed to doing with power should they win. if they run on opposing ICE then they'll have to actually oppose ICE. this is ideology masquerading as electoral strategy
NEW: In this interview, Chuck Schumer describes the "five buckets" Dems think are key to their possibly winning a Senate majority in 2026: housing, "the high price of food [and] food monopolies playing a major role there," electricity, "the high cost of childcare," and health care.
Zero Chucks Left to Give
Chuck Schumer now sees a path back to the majority. Can he manage his way through it?

You mean Tesla shareholder "I see no conflict of interest in adjudicating every Elon case" Reed O'Connor
X’s terms are insanely agressive, and basically represent an effort to force every litigation against Musk—even ongoing suits—into Reed O’Connor’s courtroom.
The X Terms of Service are amazing in many regards, but the choice of law and choice of forum parts (in Section 6) are a real standout. They apply to everything, including patent disputes, apply to pending and future disputes without regard to when the conduct occurred (or will occur)...
