I am surrounded by people who are outsourcing their own thinking to ChatGPT and they are quickly and obviously becoming dependent on it for even the most banal tasks. Once again, the "figuring it out" is the important part. Yes, you can use a crane to lift weights but you will not get stronger

There is a hugely financed movement trying to get them to stop, trying to build pillars to allow them to throw us under the bus.

So much of this. I've had a number of people tell me that my trans webcomic is too real for them and makes them uncomfortable. I'm not sure what they expect me to do about it. I warn people is is based on real trans issues. Did they expect a comedy? When you're own life causes issues for people...
Discomfort is not harm. Internalize that.
Discomfort is not harm, and if you're made uncomfortable by the work of a total stranger who does not know you exist, you can just process on your own and move on. You do not need to make it anyone's "fault" and no one needs to be "held accountable" for it.
