Young furries, do not buy this repulsive slop

Support actual furry artists if you want silly furry merch, they're out there and they're happy to oblige, and you won't be feeding a machine looking to capitalize on your subculture

We did! Everybody did!

You know how I know? Because we said this.

Everybody said this.

My gosh. After the US bombed multiple boats in the middle of the ocean, murdering people on grounds that they were allegedly "carrying drugs," the US Attorney General says "Just like we did with cartels, we're going to take the same approach, President Trump, with Antifa."

Sign. Join. Go to the meeting. The first instinct is to keep your head down, get the work done, hope someone louder or smarter or whatever helps. But that's the coordination problem of fascism: if you, yes you, ordinary person who's never done this before, do nothing then we all lose.

i think it is cool that a government run by fanatical bigots is on track to plunge the economy into a mountain and cause a food crisis

So this is funny.
The administration just issued a rule slashing foreign agricultural worker wages. And to justify it, in a public filing, Trump's Labor Department alleges that Trump's immigration enforcement has devastated the Ag workforce and caused a "risk of supply shock-induced food shortages."
Trump Labor Department Says His Immigration Raids Are Causing a Food Crisis
In a filing in the Federal Register, the Labor Department argues there are “immediate dangers to the American food supply” due to a lack of migrant agricultural workers.

This is genuinely some bullshit on bsky's part. A reaction meme of charlie kirk gets a Black person a permanent suspension, but people who actively doxx and spread hate against marginalized people not only get to stay, but het followed by mods?

We see you, bsky, and it's pretty fucking disgusting.

Unfortunate update: Link reached out to BlueSky and got email back now on reason.

His appeal is denied. He will remain permanently banned on BlueSky’s side.

Here are the screenshots he just sent me as of 8:22 AM EST(my time)
A screenshot of an email from the Bluesky Moderation Team with the subject line “Bluesky Account Behavior” sent at 22:15. The email states that a Bluesky account controlled by the recipient, with the handle @spacelawshitpost.me, posted a reply with an image where the alt text reads: Charlie Kirk sitting in a white T-shirt that says “Freedom.” A negative consequence follows. The email indicates this post violates Community Guidelines regarding violent or threatening speech, specifically listing threats of violence or physical harm against individuals, groups, institutions, or the general public, and incitement of self-harm or suicide. A screenshot of an email continuation from the Bluesky Moderation Team displaying a bulleted list of Community Guidelines violations. The first bullet point describes threats of violence or physical harm as including threats or encouragement of violence against individuals, groups, institutions, or the general public. The second bullet point defines incitement of self-harm or suicide as content that encourages self-harm or suicide. The third bullet point explains wishes of harm as expressions of a desire for harm directed at a specific person or group. Below the bullets, a paragraph states that users may not use Bluesky to break the law or cause harm to others and that all users must be treated with respect. The next paragraph informs the recipient that as a result of these violations, your account has been taken down. A closing paragraph thanks the user for doing their part to keep Bluesky a welcoming and empowering place for all users and instructs them to email moderation@blueskyweb.xyz if they have questions or wish to appeal the decision. The email ends with the signature Bluesky Moderation Team. A screenshot of an email reply from a user with the initials AJ and profile picture to the Bluesky Moderation Team, sent at 08:01 with the subject line Re: Bluesky Account Behavior. The email states the user wants to appeal the decision, asserting there was no threatening or violent connotation behind their use of the image. The user explains that the Charlie Kirk post is not a threat but rather a reaction meme expressing disappointment, with no threat made and no incitement of violence. The user mentions they have attached multiple examples and explanations, specifically 12 images in total, demonstrating the use of the image as a reaction meme. Below this text is a blue hyperlink to a Bluesky post URL. At the bottom of the screenshot is an embedded image showing a Bluesky post from a user with the handle @britculpsapp.bsky.social with several emoji reactions and a repost indicator showing Bluesky Elder. The post text reads: how to explain: this has been used as a reaction image to spending $20 on doordashing wendy’s & isn’t a threat. The timestamp shows October 5, 2025 at 3:34 PM. A screenshot of an email from the Bluesky Moderation Team sent at 08:11 with the subject line Re: Bluesky Account Behavior addressed To: Hide My Email. The email reads:

Hi there,

Thank you for reaching out to appeal the takedown of your account on Bluesky. We have carefully reviewed your case, including the information you provided and the activity that led to the suspension of your account.

After investigating, we have determined that your account activity was in violation of our community guidelines, specifically promoting hateful content or being disruptive to other users. We take these guidelines seriously to ensure a safe and respectful environment for all our users.

As a result, we regret to inform you that your appeal has been denied, and your account will remain suspended. This decision is final and cannot be reversed. We understand that this may be disappointing news, but we must prioritize the well-being of our community and maintain a consistent enforcement of our policies. We encourage you to review our community guidelines to better understand the expectations we have for user behavior on our platform. Please do not create new accounts, since those will be taken down for ban evasion.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

They thought it would hurt everyone except for them. They knew they were voting for people to be hurt, they were excited to watch the suffering. They just didn't think they'd have to experience it too. Which is incredibly delulu, but here we go again with the shock that they also need safety nets

In order to "prove" that you character isn't a minor you have to make sure they have obvious signifiers which aren't even universal for real human beings.
ceramictoast.bsky.social
Yeah, the point is that fictional characters are fictional characters, not minors. The only way to identify a minor fictional character is for the artist to specify that the character is underage. Instead, mods are allowed to decide if your character is a minor or not, which is bad.

"Has always allowed NSFW"

PillowFort billed themselves as a safe haven after the Tumblr purge, only to then rug-pull and enact a "looks like" clause where moderators can decide if your art looks like lolisho and ban you. So if you have a problematique art style, PF is not the place for you.

#Pillowfort is NOT dead. Consider PF as another site that you can post to. Think of it but Tumblr but smaller & more casual. Check out my other posts (will link below) for more info.

"My son thinks ChatGPT is the coolest train loving person in the world. The bar is set so high now I am never going to be able to compete with that.”
‘My son genuinely believed it was real’: Parents are letting little kids play with AI. Are they wrong?
Some believe AI can spark their child’s imagination through personalized stories and generative images. Scientists are wary of its affect on creativity

Fight for what you love.

This whole section really.
Finally: AI cannot do your job, but an AI salesman can 100% convince your boss to fire you and replace you with an AI that can't do your job, and when the bubble bursts, the money-hemorrhaging "foundation models" will be shut off and we'll lose the AI that can't do your job, and you will be long gone, retrained or retired or "discouraged" and out of the labor market, and no one will do your job.
AI is the asbestos we are shoveling into the walls of our society and our descendants will be digging it out for generations:

Many of us have gotten *way* too comfortable with direct access to the creators of the art/media we enjoy.

Being able to directly message them has been a blessing and a curse. While it's nice to be able to express more gratitude and grievance, some of us now feel *entitled to it.*

Added alt text with full quote.

“When I see that, I worry that they might face serious trouble down the line if they don't take it more seriously.”
Hirohiko Araki addresses Al art in his latest book:
"Recently, I came across a drawing that perfectly mimicked my art style. I thought 'I don't remember drawing this' only to find out it was Al, I was shocked, this is truly evil and a tool for scammers"

In this post there is a photo of Hirohiko Araki, creator of Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure next to Giorno from the series. By Hirohiko Araki. It’s titled “Today’s World of Con Artists” and it reads: Speaking about 'societal evils, I think that as Al continues to spread throughout society, we're going to see an increasingly shady world filled with scammers exploiting it. Recently, I came across a drawing and thought, "This is something I drew, right?" I was shocked to find out it was actually created by Al. When I draw manga, I add subtle, personal elements that make the work uniquely mine. But this Al-generated piece even mimicked details like the way I draw eyelashes, so precisely that it was almost impossible to tell it apart from my work. If it were based on recent drawings, I'd know right away, "No, I didn't draw this." On the other hand, I honestly wouldn't be able to tell the difference if it were done with my art from about ten years ago, when my memory of it would be a little hazy. The more Al advances, the more this kind of thing will happen.
Art reflects the times, and manga is one example of that. Seeing this world of con artists appear in manga could very well mean that we're headed for a future world dominated by fraudsters. This type of 'evil' in today's age will undoubtedly end up impacting manga down the line.
Copyright infringement by Al is also a 'villain' that we manga artists must face. The extreme scenario is that Al-generated fakes might start being accepted as the "real thing," and even if we try to protect our work, these counterfeits are becoming so accurate and sophisticated that it's no longer a fight an individual can win. Having some kind of laws would probably be the only way to regulate this. However, because we're dealing with a world of con artists, there's also a very real possibility that laws favoring them will appear before we know it. Personally, I entrust my copyright management to Shueisha, but some manga artists are lax in managing their copyrights, leading to others using their artwork without permission or even leaking original drawings.
