Love this thread! None of the women who speak out against Trans people speak for me. I don't agree with a word of it. So I'm pleased to finally see someone speaking out against it and taking a stand.
🏊♀️The women who swim at Kenwood Ladies Pond have already made their decision.
In 2024, almost 900 members voted to keep their trans-inclusive policy - a policy that has worked peacefully since 2019.
Now, a small campaign group is seeking to overturn that democratic decision through the courts.

Love this thread! None of the women who speak out against Trans people speak for me. I don't agree with a word of it. So I'm pleased to finally see someone speaking out against it and taking a stand.
Just a brief glances tells me the far-right are now going after the BBC to undermine a broadcasting channel that is supposed to be neutral (though it hasn't been since Theresa May threatened to defund it for not supporting the Tories). It's like America has indoctinated the UK with its corruption.

But that is not enough. No.10 should never have been in a position to install Gibb in the first place. It shouldn't control the board membership, the DG appointment, or the purse strings. What's required is genuine independence for the BBC.

I'm not fucking arguing with people about measuring water in a pint glass & it being 500ml. I actually fucking measured it for myself when measuring what I drink. I couldn't give a fuck how they're made or how beer is poured in it. They can think what they like about their precious pint glasses. Ffs

Hubby is away on business so I was up before light doing the pack-ups for the kids. Though youngest is only just getting up. I've cleaned up the kitchen and put the dishwasher on, done a load of washing that is already in the dryer. Super productive. But I'm back in bed reading now. Might doze.
