Some of the stories in here are absolutely chilling. One US citizen of Somali descent was just riding an elevator with ICE agents and then they detained him for almost half an hour in the freezing cold despite him showing agents his passport card. They only let him go once protestors showed up.
Defendants’ Unlawful Detention of Ali Dahir 49. Ali Dahir is a U.S. citizen of Somali descent who has lived in the United States since 2001. He currently resides near Karmel Mall, in a neighborhood with a large Somali American population in Minneapolis. On December 2, 2025, Mr. Dahir was leaving his apartment when he observed uniformed officers wearing vests and masks knocking on doors in his building. Mr. Dahir was detained after sharing an elevator in his building—a building primarily housing residents of Somali and Latino descent—with the ICE agents. Mr. Dahir did not speak to or otherwise engage with the agents while in the elevator. When Mr. Dahir exited the elevator and walked outside, the agents followed him, called him over, and stopped him, saying that they needed to speak with him. 50. The agents took a picture of Mr. Dahir’s face with their phone and asked him for his identification. Mr. Dahir provided them with his Minnesota driver’s license. They asked Mr. Dahir if he was a U.S. citizen, and when he responded that he was, they demanded proof. Mr. Dahir provided his passport card, but the agents still did not let him leave. Instead, they took his driver’s license and passport card to their car. Mr. Dahir asked if he was free to go, but an officer said no because they were waiting for more information from their headquarters. The agents kept Mr. Dahir outside for at least 25 minutes in weather at or below 19 degrees Fahrenheit. When Mr. Dahir asked if he could leave to go to work, the agents told him he was not free to leave and threatened him with detention. 51. The agents also held a friend of Mr. Dahir’s. The ICE agents prevented Mr. Dahir and his friend from leaving until media and other people from the neighborhood started to gather, at which point one of the ICE agents stated, “It’s getting hot over here, let’s go, let’s go.”

In this video agents tell a woman to move, which she starts to do and then stops because a white haired woman was crossing the street (in a cross walk!) in front her. They then reach into her car making it unsafe (to them) for her to drive. It's honestly impossible to comply with these people.

Today at 34 & Park in Minneapolis, a woman tried to drive down the street where a protest had broken out in front of a home ICE was raiding, saying she had a doctor apt to get to. ICE agents busted out her windows, cut off her seatbelt, and pulled her out before arresting her.

The man and his wife, both US citizens, said the whole incident started because ICE agents profiled him for being Hispanic. “Just because I look Hispanic,” said Christian Molina, 40 — a phrase he kept repeating to reporters. Molina said he and his wife, who live in Coon Rapids with four children, were driving separately to a car mechanic early Monday afternoon. He said he was driving south on 36th Street when he made eye contact with ICE agents in a vehicle poking out from an alley. The agents immediately started chasing him, he said. He did not comply initially and kept moving, but eventually pulled over near the intersection of E 35th Street and Park Avenue. The ICE agents rammed their car against Molina’s rear driver side of the car, he said. He said the agents were aggressive and demanded he show papers.
