I'm so sick of hearing these whines about higher costs for employers. What they're really moaning about is people - particularly in the public sector - getting long overdue pay rises. As anyone should know, if poorer people have more money they spend it and it's good for the economy. #r4today

This worries me. Knee jerk policies are rarely wise and this would be positively dangerous in the hands of Reform
Labour claims it’s protecting communities, but restricting protests is a fight against democracy itself. Citizens face limits on free expression while the government pushes its policy.

What link is there between Rayner and Mandelson, other than "September"? Rayner was an excellent member of government, and the process that led up to her removal was exemplary. It might be a politically unfortunate conjunction, but it hardly contributes to a pattern. #bbcwato

Can someone ask Streeting how a patient is supposed to "exercise choice" about where they receive NHS treatment based on his league table?
If we're told we have an appointment for a scan at X hospital, what happens if we say no we want to go to Y hospital?
