When I coach a young player and ask them to throw me a pass or show me their layup, I am without knowledge and desperate for their teaching, their examples.
I gotta say I find a lot of AI discourse around higher ed very confusing. "if ChatGPT can write your essays is college even worth it?" did people think math teachers were assigning problem sets because *they* couldn't figure out the answers?

Lander is an eminently qualified candidate who could have seen the failure of his won campaign as a reason to be embittered against Mamdani (as, ahem, others did) but instead is pivoting to united the left-liberal vote and dampen Cuomo’s chances. Profoundly decent, stand up thing to do.

If you think it can’t happen here, remember that it already did. In 1942 soldiers came with rifles to our home and ordered us out. They put us in internment camps. Most of us were citizens.

I had the same reaction. Mamdani is such a threat in their view that they had to essentially reverse their non-endorsement policy. If Cuomo was cruising to victory, I doubt this piece would be written.
NYT Ed Board said last year that they aren’t doing local endorsements anymore, but they couldn’t help themselves from writing a gross roundabout endorsement of Cuomo.

It is genuinely unsafe for average people to use Twitter and speak freely. It appears to be this administration's primary intelligence gathering operation.
