In 2025, my office conducted high-impact constituent services year-round.

We supported hundreds of constituent cases—helping folks with passport renewals, tax refunds, housing & more.

And we responded to thousands of constituent letters & held nearly 200 events in the district.

There's a disconnect between "We're going to build city-sized data centers in remote, rural areas of TX" and "ICE will round up construction workers by the thousands and the state will send troopers to racially profile South Texas drivers and scare everyone away from job sites." 1/3
South Texas builders urge officials to act as rampant ICE raids roil construction
Construction leaders say frequent immigration raids are sweeping up legal work visa holders, disrupting building in the Rio Grande Valley.

I want us to notice over and over how these assertions are being made by white women.

And that’s not a coincidence it’s a tactic that has had millions spent on it and no real challenge or repair. Since the days of feminist blogging
Fact | You can't write something predicated in the utterly ludicrous assumption that white men are being excluded from publishing unless you are racist.

(Hot Take TM) Providing mutual aid as part of campaign work is a good thing that candidates should do more.
🧵 Our mutual aid hub has been a HUGE draw for our immense volunteer base, many of whom have never wanted to be involved politics before now.

This model isn’t just about the immediate impacts: It’s about showing our values, building a community, and reaching voters — without selling our soul!
Turning campaigns into mutual aid hubs isn’t good for campaigns or mutual aid! Your campaign manager should be entirely too busy to schlep around 5600 tampons!

Forget even prosecuted. The party will NOT defund ICE. And most of their voters will be fine with this if they return to power. I don't think this is defeatist in the least. To me, it's reality. You would expect to see something different right now if they were going to act differently in power.
We shouldn’t be doomer defeatists about these things, but we also shouldn’t go in ignorant. These ICE thugs tearing families apart are more likely to remain in their jobs than be prosecuted based on everything we know about the Democratic Party.

KELLY I NEED YOU TO SAY THIS INTO THE MIKE SO THE FOOLS IN GHE BACK CAN HEAR YOU
It did not "go viral". It was intentionally filmed and disseminated using a network of coordinated bots, amplified by an algorithm designed to spread this kind of content quickly. This was a harassment campaign, intended to silence everyone. Call it what it is.

Funnily when they wanted to keep POC out of tech their reasoning was that we didn’t meet the standards
Can't wait for the loosened up, non-perfect, but quickly shipped AI-enhanced updates to hit my banking and insurance services next year.

Im sure there will be no issues there at all.

lol I will NEVER forget how the Black women who kicked of VP Harris election fundraising raised $1 million in four hours, but then white men raised two million or something in 15 minutes with less people.

If y'all want to do something, just do it.

In 2026, perhaps we can all use the same excuses the DOJ has with the Epstein Files when we file our taxes this year. Send them highly redacted, or just not at all by the due date. Huh

I e are in the Victorian era.

Dead ass, automation and “innovation”
Powered by a workforce whose invisible hand is expected to perfect the aesthetics of colonization

While also being blamed for their “inevitable” subjugation to it
“Because riders and passersby can be unreliable, Waymo pays workers in Los Angeles $20 or more for rescuing a robotaxi by closing a door, summoning help through an app called Honk that is like an Uber for towing companies.”
When robot taxis get stuck, a secret army of humans comes to the rescue
Waymo robotaxis get stranded when a passenger leaves the door open. Tow truck operators can get paid $22 to close a door and set them free again.

Also, if you think poor people don’t have access to technology, why would you create a world where technology is necessary for survival? Why would you support a companies that require you to have apps in order to use their services? Why would you consider yourself poor when you have tech?
Why wouldn’t people expect poverty to be digital? If they hear in the newspapers or something that poverty exists, why is it a shock that in times when everyone’s online, poor people are online asking for what they need?

Friends, we have some great news post-holiday: we eeked past the 60% mark. We have 5 days left in our 2025 end-of-year fundraising. Help us reach our goal of $50,000 before the end of the year.
We need your help! So far, we’ve raised $16,000 from 164 donors, which tells us that a lot of people understand the importance of this work. We train incarcerated writers and publish their stories. Our goal is to raise $50,000 by Dec. 31. Can you support our work?
