It's also important for ICE to erase that this kind of public execution was entirely avoidable in any reasonable society. There was no need for a deployment like this, no need for the street interaction here, no need for the drawing of weapons, no need for firing, etc...

Renee Nicole Good, and all the immigrants we’ve lost at the hands of ICE should still be alive.

When human life is treated as expendable, no one is safe.

We are done accepting this as normal.

Join us this Sunday to say loud and clear: ICE out of our cities now!

Spent the day exploring Lake Sandoval in the Peruvian rain forest. I was thrilled when we spotted four Hoatzin along the water's edge. Called the strangest bird in the Amazon, it has no close avian relatives! I think it's fabulous. #Hoatzin #Peru #Sandoval

Sadness arrives uninvited. Joy demands more—it requires us to search, to kindle, to protect the flame against every wind. When we choose joy despite everything that argues against it, we don't just save ourselves—we illuminate the way for everyone around us.

The Yule goat, the Julbocken, is a bringer of gifts, but also the spirit of the important last sheaf of the harvest. You might make one out of wood or straw to secretly leave at a neighbour’s house and when they find it they must also do the same. 🐐

American Wigeons are cute ducks with pale blue beaks, an iridescent green patch on the wings, and the males have a fancy iridescent green noggin stripe and a white cap. These birds are grazers with their stubby beak being ideal for pulling up and eating vegetation.
