I understand that a lot of folks have been misled by fear-mongering and powerful regressive voices but it’s still astonishing to me that so many have fallen for the idea that oppressively policing other people’s gender identity and expression could in any way be part of an enlightened future.

Nah man a big part of why the UB stuff makes me sad is cause I know it's extremely popular so they're going to keep doing it despite it making the parts of the game I deeply care about worse. Like I know a bunch of people are going to buy the 6th marvel set but that doesn't make my FNM fire.
Hearing the conversations around the con, I think heavily enfranchised online folks significantly overestimate how much their opinions on Universes Beyond are shared by the wider player base.
This is not a value judgment of any opinion in particular: just being reminded of that myself, too.

I hate RFK Jr. with a passion. He is a bad person. But please stop referring to his heroin use as having anything to do with his moral depravity. Addiction is not a moral failing, it is a public health and clinical issue.
