I say this as somebody who needs reading glasses - if I were a couple who championed the concept of genetic superiority I'd try not to have the eyesight of a naked mole rat.
I didn't realize that the pro-eugenics natalist couple that was inexplicably profiled by several major outlets for having a lot of kids through IVF started a podcast. Here's an unlistenable episode where they try and argue that Hitler was a hipster and not "right wing."

The refusal to consider DC Statehood is largely a reluctance to give DC two Senators, which itself is a tacit admission that the United States Senate is an anti-democratic institution.
Statehood for D.C. is an ethical obligation at this point, required to protect the rights of our residents to govern ourselves against such out-of-state troops being sent to patrol our city.
