Good friend of mine is researching an infamous character from her rural town, and in doing so, came across a newspaper clipping from the late 1890's of a boy who had poisoned his father's porridge with Paris Green and skipped town. Now, this is where I fell down a rabbit hole. What is Paris Green?

At Burbank City Hall to protest the ICE killings of lawful protesters and the enormous lie that ICE is deporting criminals and somehow “making us safe” when it’s the exact opposite. I think my son’s sign says it best. #AbolishICE

Second or third time I've seen a nazi call someone else a "Karen." The term literally exists to describe someone who'd call the cops on a black person for existing!
The central political divide today in the U.S. is not between two sides offering slightly varying iterations of the same underlying political bargain but between a tradition affirming the historic liberal-constitutional order and one that enthusiastically strips rights from ideological opponents.

Especially white journalists. You don't get to sit back and leave this to Black voices. What are you doing? How are you using your platforms? Your reach?

Well?
The arrests of journalists Don Lemon and Georgia Fort are a test for every MSM member with a platform. If you are not voicing your outrage at this blatant violation of the First Amendment, you are utterly discredited as a journalist.

"In theater" is a military term that refers to a wartime theater of operations. ICE and CBP agents are in Minnesota, which is one of the United States. The enemy in this military operation are citizens of Minnesotans and the United States.
Q: Can you be specific about how many ICE and CBP agents are currently operating in the state?

HOMAN: 3,000. There's been some rotations. They've been in theater a long time. Day after day, can't eat in restaurants, people spin on you, blowing whistles at you. But my main focus now is draw down

We aren't any closer to stopping this.
A legal asylum-seeker who works at Chipotle and plays music at a church in Maine went missing. His pastor searched and searched, eventually finding his abandoned car with the keys on the floor.

ICE grabbed him. No criminal record. No explanation.

Do not fall for this garbage. DHS came into my city with an offensive posture, conducted itself as an invader, often attacked residents without any plausible connection to immigration enforcement, violently seized people off the streets. Now it’s our fault people died?

I saw old footage of someone being served an immigration warrant and it was just two guys in normal clothes, like process servers. Arming them and dressing them up like soldiers is a choice with a purpose.

None of this would have prevented any of the killings from the last month.
SCHUMER says Democrats are “united” behind three DHS reforms

1/ End roving patrols; tighten the rules on warrants and require ICE to coordinate with local authorities.

2/ Enforce accountability; a uniform code of conduct.

3/ Require masks off, body cameras on, agents carry ID.

In that spirit: world, skip the World Cup until we get this sewage worked out. And don’t be too sure about the Olympics.
