exactly this. as someone who has been hit and abused by someone much larger than me: Big Muscle Men are scary AF and the only reason why Reacher isn’t terrifying is because REACHER (the series) tells us in great detail that Reacher (the guy) would never abuse a kid or significant other
The lesson from Reacher isn't that all women demand muscles, it's that if you're kind and competent, being Large is a fun cherry on top.
