I can understand, why @bsky.app won't comment on the details of suspending the account of Sarah Kendzior. But it doesn't inspire a lot of trust in the overall decision processes, when there's basically no official information at all what caused the suspension.

Remember as well what I said about this the other day: Every time Pritzker, Newsome or whoever does this successfully, it creates an incentive to do it again. Criticism is a self-reinforcing cycle.
Please note what happened here. By challenging Trump to pause his terror raids for Halloween, Pritzker forced Kristi Noem to come out *for* continuing to traumatize kids. Polarizing these debates draws attention/forces MAGA depravity into the light.

Regardless of his other motives, we know that Kirk’s killer grew up in a family and community that took it for granted that ordinary citizens should prepare for someday deciding to shoot someone else and have the weapons to do it with. That’s not a healthy mindset
what feels like a generational yearning to use guns on people. To hunt and to train you and your family because you hope you will need it one violent day. Having these kinds of folks as neighbors is terrifying.

Well, there it is. The Trump administration is exploring a ban on trans people owning firearms. Trans people have accounted for less than a tenth of a percent of mass shootings over the past decade, but Trump is predictably seizing the opportunity to further oppress trans people.
