today i bumped the fridge door shelf and it fell, shattering condiment jars all over just as I needed to take shmackson somewhere and shmusband cut himself.
later, a big part of the plaster ceiling just... fell. Was streaming, and got on camera a very spooked lem-geck.
I just... no threes please.

Anyway I spent most of it singing at the absolute top of my lungs because I needed to scream SOMETHING. It helped.

Bartleby, my first cat, was an angel on earth and I would never have subjected him to such indignity. Onion wakes me up at 4 in the morning for wet food by screaming directly into my ear canal and has broken ~$3K worth of my personal belongings, so Onion is going to be a Happy Little Sunflower today

If anything could be a better indicator of how I need to take time off and let myself heal, it's the way I feel so differently on a Saturday where I allow myself to enjoy life and rest versus a Sunday where I am imbued with an intense anxiety for the week ahead.

Los Angeles County voted to declare a state of emergency in response to federal ICE raids. Normally reserved for natural disasters, the declaration allows the county to mobilize resources and offer assistance to residents impacted by the raids.

If you didn’t know, Alaska has been hit by a massive storm, causing severe flooding. Many Indigenous villages have been completely wiped out, with some houses floating away with PEOPLE INSIDE THEM. Please keep posting to spread the info. They need help.
