Every political leader in the UK has condemned what Trump said last night about the role of UK troops and Nato in Afghanistan, except one. This is what Nigel Farage has tweeted since Trump spoke

Donald Trump insults UK armed forces who served and sacrificed so much on the front line in Afghanistan.
Isn't it time Farage admitted his admiration and support for Trump was misplaced?

A lot of these political editors see Starmer/Trump and Mamdani/Trump as unexpected bromances, rather than what the rest of us see, which is someone trying to gamely manage a lunatic.

Just reflexively oppositional, YOU NEGOTIATED THIS DEAL! If you'd not held the election when you did, Rishi would have signed it. YOU WERE IN THE FOREIGN OFFICE AT THE TIME.
This is (1) disgraceful at a moment of national danger, (2) laughably unserious and (3) deeply unwise when the President is obviously becoming incapacitated and the most unpopular person in the whole UK. Utterly disqualifying.

STILL no trans people or drag queens implicated in the Epstein Files.

Plenty of TERFs though.

It’s almost as though every “gender-critical” transphobe is trying to protect cis men who abuse women and girls by helping them distract from the real threat.

Printing some photographs to take with me to the meeting with Westminster Council next week to discuss the Adelphi tent encampment. It’s easy to make decisions about people when you don’t know who they are & don’t see them as individuals. Not so easy when faced with the reality & the consequences.

I believe it is true that being a bully is very often associated with amnesia.
“Farage has suggested that it’s inconceivable that anyone could recall such events of more than four decades ago. I would simply ask: can a victim of such abuse ever forget?…I recognise his walk every time I see it on TV as that same walk that used to approach me”

I’ll never forget the look of hatred Nigel Farage had for me at school, simply for existing

It's also: you don't know who is going to become what. A society more confident in itself would believe a little bit more in its ability to make anyone thrive and give back.
My dad abhors any negative comments about immigrants. Asked him recently why he’s so strong on it: ‘Because we’re always happy to take the rich and clever ones. Which means it’s not about disliking immigrants. It’s about disliking the poor and vulnerable. And that’s a bad human instinct.’
This is so disgusting.

Who remembers “Titbits”?
Thats what we now call journalism.
tfw when: you've got your 2nd year seminar group doing a SWOT analysis on the Greens, you're talking about possible attack lines that might be used against Zack Polanski, and it becomes clear that none of them has heard of this story, so (now you've mentioned it) you have to explain it to them.😱🥵
Polanski apologises over claim he can increase women’s breast sizes with his mind
Several Labour MPs have criticised the new Green Party leader over the claims, with one describing them as ‘grim’
