Lord Heseltine, "The number of people aged below 50 who think it was right for us to leave the European Union, is less than 20%

"The latest polls tells us 56% now believe it was mistake to leave the European Union"

Hands up if you are one of the 56% 🙋‍♂️

Jenrick’s comments are deeply irresponsible and risk fuelling division.

When politicians like him and Farage imply non-white people can't truly be British, they make it that much harder to achieve the integration, tolerance and respect we all want to see.

Once again, the Telegraph seems shocked that the EU is acting like… the EU.

This is exactly what sovereignty looks like when you’re on the outside.

The UAE is an authoritarian autocracy, a petro-state with no income tax for citizens, to bribe them for the lack of democratic voice or free speech

It is 85% migrant, a segregated society with a ban on integration in principle and practice, few rights, equal opportunities, nor voice for incomers

This is a lie.

There are many criticisms you might sensibly and truthfully make of the Sentencing Council and the Sentencing Guidelines. I’ve been making them for years.

But this is an outright lie. Pure fabrication. A fraud on the public.

I know this is uncomfortable to admit, but there is a small area in England's second city where people are just not integrated with the rest of society. Many of them hold views that arguably go against British values.

Yes, we need to talk about the Tory conference in Manchester.

The new front cover of The New World magazine.

A man has been arrested in London tonight for silently holding the magazine up in the street.
The front cover headline is “Sign of the Times” and is a picture of the protest placard which says “I oppose genocide. I support Palestine Action.”
Palestine Action has been proscribed as a terrorist organisation by UK government and anyone holding a sign of support is arrested for terrorism offences.

Honest Bob says he's the son of a gas fitter.

And to think some people say "he tells it like it is".

They just mean they like to hear someone who seems important vomit out racist tropes.

I know plenty of politicians 'working classify' their backgrounds, but this from Jenrick is taking the piss.

His father's linked in is here: uk.linkedin.com/in/bill-jenr...

He was a managing accountant who ended up as the Managing Director of Cannon Industries

Robert Jenrick thinks that he can tell how well integrated someone is based on the colour of their skin.

That appalling prejudice should have been called out by his leader, but she is too weak.

The Conservatives are becoming indistinguishable from Reform.

People like Robert Jenrick and Nigel Farage are increasingly looking at people who are not white and suggesting that they can't be British.

That in itself is fundamentally un-British.

If the LDs overtake the Tories will they be on the BBC more than the Tories?
Because Reform's status as "preferred opposition party" doesn't appear to be related to seats in parliament.

This is Adelita Grijalva.

She was elected to Congress two weeks ago, officially making her the final vote needed to force the release of the Epstein files.

She has still not been sworn in because Mike Johnson refuses to do so.

Dan thinks Jenrick's words have been outrageously misinterpreted. And yet other Tories like Mel Stride and Andy Street are distancing themselves from Jenrick.

There is nothing wrong with Pippa's summary.

Kemi is frustrated that people talk about Farage and not the Tories.

Yet she also said: If you don’t agree with leaving the ECHR - you’re out of the party.
If you make an obviously racist comment - you get a hug.

Talking about Kemi IS talking about Farage as she’s adopted everything he stands for!

🧵 Sinister stuff. Jenrick, a Tory leadership candidate, says he didn’t see a White face in an area, & that it looked like a slum. This is a v old racist dog-whistle. Then when challenged on it, he accuses journos of fomenting terrorism. He’s clearly in fascist double-speak mode [1]

Wow. Robert Jenrick doubles down by branding a black journalist's questions "ridiculous" and saying that the problem is not his comments, but "journalists like you who pop up and try to knock me down", adding that "this is the reason why terrorist attacks happen". ~AA
