Just imagining our current media being around in June 1944, they'd be asking gotcha questions every 5 minutes. We're not in the same situation of course but dealing with Trump needs diplomacy and world leaders working together, this happens behind closed doors for a reason.

2025 was the best year for the FTSE 100 since 2009.
2025 was also the first FULL year under a Labour government since 2009.
Coincidence? Maybe. But it's not as if it's the only data point showing improving trends now we have a Labour government again.
